The suspect’s hearing was scheduled for this Friday in connection with the July killings of a Middle River woman and her grandmother; however, it was postponed.
Since Bryan Cherry remains in detention in Baltimore, his bail review hearing in the case has been rescheduled for Monday, August 26.
Cherry faces accusations in Baltimore for murder, attempted murder, assault, and other offenses in addition to the murder charges related to the fatalities in Middle River.
In June, the police became aware of him after the first incident. With the identification of Bryan Cherry as the prime suspect in the deaths of Autumn Harvey and Iona Sellers, the families may now sleep a bit easier.
“I’m so relieved and happy that we have a chance to get justice, but it is hard,” Devin Harvey, Autumn Harvey’s cousin, stated.
On July 7, following a “check location” call, Autumn Harvey and Sellers were discovered deceased in a house on Taos Circle.
Charging records display Autumn Harvey was stabbed multiple times in the neck, shoulder, and head. The sellers were injured by blunt force trauma.
According to criminal documents, Cherry was recognized as a suspect by Baltimore County Police after reviewing security footage from the neighborhood and surrounding area.
Officers were alerted to suspect activity using Seller’s Wells Fargo credit card while searching through her phone. Cherry was recognized as the same individual in further security footage when it was compared to the footage from the sites where the card was used.
