In August, a brand-new distillery is scheduled to debut in New Orleans. A press statement states that Old Alker Distillery will open a manufacturing and tasting room on Oak Street on August 2.

Whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, and unique liqueurs made using pot still infusions will all be available at the new distillery.

According to the release, visitors can also buy bottles of the “high-end,” six-year barrel-aged Old Alker Collection whiskey, two whiskies from the whiskey’s Old Alker Collection, Trumpet brand vodka and gin, light and dark Bienville rums, and Lagniappe Liqueurs, which include chocolate, amaretto, and coffee.

“We think we’ve found the perfect location on Oak Street to provide locals a newly renovated, unique experience to see a working distillery and enjoy a craft cocktail using our brands and only the freshest local ingredients,” Old Alker Distillery Owner Kevin Alker stated.
