According to authorities, two teenagers and a two-year-old girl were shot on Thursday night in North Philadelphia.
Just before 8:45 p.m., the 2-year-old child and the 15-year-old male were shot when they were outside their house on the 1300 block of North 11th Street, according to the police.
The 2-year-old and the 15-year-old are connected, according to Chief Inspector Scott Small of the Philadelphia Police Department. According to him, the 15-year-old was shot once in the right leg and the 2-year-old was shot twice in the left leg.
According to Small, they were all brought to Temple University Hospital and given stable status. Eventually, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children will get them.
A 17-year-old teenager came at Jefferson Hospital in Center City with an ankle gunshot wound, according to information Small provided when police were on the scene. Small stated that his condition was stabilized.
More than thirty rounds were fired from at least one semiautomatic weapon, though Small claimed it was unclear who was the intended target.

According to Small, after watching security footage, police identified a suspect firing rounds and exiting the passenger side of a white SUV. After that, according to Small, the car fled along North 11th Street.
Police are looking into a white car that was discovered, according to Small, but they don’t think it has anything to do with the incident. He also mentioned that helicopters are looking for the white SUV.
Investigators are questioning neighbors and other individuals in the vicinity of the incident, according to Small. According to Small, no one has been arrested. It’s unclear why the gunman opened fire.
