An early morning gunshot on Friday in the northwest part of Miami is being investigated by the police. The shooting resulted in one person being hurt.
It was just before 3 a.m. when the incident occurred, according to the Miami Police Department, and it took place close to the intersection of Northwest 15th Avenue and 68th Street, where officers rushed after receiving a Shot Spotter warning.
According to the police, one person who appeared to have been shot was located at the scene and treated for their injuries. The victim, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, was treated by Miami Fire Rescue.
At this time, the investigators have not disclosed any new information regarding the shooting.
