During a SWAT standoff in Columbus, Ohio, the suspect was shot and killed by police, while three policemen were stabbed.

According to WBNS-TV, authorities were summoned to a house on Cherryberry Drive on Thursday night over an allegation of a domestic altercation. This sparked the standoff. It turned into an hours-long standoff, according to reports, after police arrived at the house.

Three cops were stabbed during the standoff, according to authorities, and the man was killed by at least one SWAT officer’s gunshot during the exchange. The TV station reported that Benjamin Wheeler, 40, was subsequently identified as the culprit.

The policemen’ injuries were not life-threatening, so they were sent to a nearby hospital. As of Friday night, two had been released from the hospital.
