This time, a police officer who attempted to apprehend a convicted peeping tom is said to have been the victim of physical violence.

Keevis Holland, 41, is being held on accusations of aggravated assault of peace officers, stealing a weapon from an officer, and assault inflicting bodily injury, according to Dallas County, Texas, jail records.

Police in the nearby city of Irving reported that they were summoned to 4100 W Airport Fwy in Irving for an assist officer call at 12:31 p.m. on Monday.

Although the location is a Walmart, the police did not disclose it. It transpired that one of their Ore City peers was the cop in need of assistance. He was off duty but wearing a uniform, and he found out via security that Holland was photographing women’s skirts, according to the police.

The policeman made an attempt to arrest Holland.

“As the officer placed a handcuff on the defendant’s left wrist, the defendant turned around and began striking the officer’s face and head repeatedly with closed fists,” police stated. “Each time the defendant struck the officer, the loose handcuff also struck him, causing a laceration to the top of the officer’s scalp. The officer fell to the ground and dropped his department issued Taser. The defendant picked up the Taser and pointed it at the officer, which placed him in fear of serious bodily injury or death due to the potential of the defendant incapacitating him with the Taser and taking his firearm.”

According to investigators, the assault was captured on security cameras.

Holland ran into the parking lot and got away in a gray Dodge Ram, according to the police, as the officer pursued him. The license plate number, according to the officers, allowed them to identify that it belonged to Holland.

The defendant has already faced charges related to spying on others. In 2017, he entered a guilty plea for capturing cellphone videos up the skirts of two different ladies in March and April of that same year, as reported by Fox Dallas station KDFW and NBC Dallas-Fort Worth partner KXAS. According to reports, he was serving a 20-year jail sentence on parole after entering a guilty plea to aggravated robbery in 2002.

Go back to 2024. Once more, Holland is in danger. When police arrived at his house to serve a warrant, it became clear that he was not home.

“They had normal clothes on, but they had guns and, like, vests on and everything,” neighbor Omar Ayala stated. “And they were yelling from the microphone saying ‘Come out, come out.'”

After all, Holland turned himself in on Tuesday and is currently being detained with a $152,000 bond.
