At least four minors are being sought by Philadelphia police following a collision in the Port Richmond district of the city that left multiple automobiles damaged and one guy badly hospitalized.
At the intersection of Richmond and Venango streets, it occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. On video, a black Dodge Ram is seen speeding down Venango Street while a Chevrolet pickup is seen driving north on Richmond Street.
The driver of the Dodge is said to have T-boned the Chevrolet at that point after running a red light.
Investigators said both cars slid into many parked, unoccupied cars on the road as a result of the incident. The autos are seen hitting with the parked cars in another footage taken from a nearby residence.
“There was a cloud of smoke from I guess the cement bags. I looked over, the guy was lying on his car. All the neighbors came out, it was sad,” Joe Dougherty from Port Richmond recalled.
Between five and seven empty cars were damaged in the collision. According to the neighbors, the incident caused damage and debris in the surrounding region.
“I came outside and thought it looks like how it does if a bomb went off,” said Port Richmond resident Christian Pace.
“It sounded like a car drove off 95. Sounded like an explosion — it was loud,” Dougherty continued.
After hearing the incident, numerous residents reportedly rushed outside to investigate and offer assistance. Four young people in dark clothes, ski masks, and thick coats reportedly ran out of the Dodge at that point, according to the police.
Authorities believe that three of the youngsters may have fled the area in a white SUV that was pursuing them. One neighbor claimed to have spotted the license plate of the getaway automobile. Police have not yet made that information public.

According to the police, the driver of the Chevrolet, a 40-year-old AutoZone employee, was critically injured and rushed to Temple University Hospital.
“I looked down, you could see the bed of the pick-up where the gentleman was laying. That’s when my sister turned around to call the authorities,” Pace stated.
Philadelphia police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
