Police Raid Busts Drug Den Stolen Cars and Guns Seized in Laurel Motel 6 Sweep

Last Thursday, four individuals were taken into custody after police discovered drugs and guns inside a Motel 6 in Laurel.

According to the police, on July 11 at approximately 9:00 p.m., they discovered a stolen 2016 Honda Accord in the Laurel parking lot of the Motel 6, which is situated at 3510 Old Annapolis Road.

Officers located the room where the owners of the stolen car were staying at the motel thanks to their investigation. Officers discovered four suspects in the room where they were clearly seeing suspected weapons and drugs.

Following the arrest of the suspects and the execution of a search warrant at the location, the following objects were found and seized:

  • 42 alleged pressed fentanyl tablets
  • 1.5 grams of perhaps Xanax
  • Two electronic scales
  • Many cellphones
  • Glock 19 loaded with 10 rounds
  • Glock 26 loaded with 12 rounds

It was found that the car belonged to one of the suspects (Awkward), who was already being held for the earlier incident. The following individuals were taken into custody:

  • Tiease Florence Awkward
  • Jerry Alonza Moore
  • Dakarai D Angelo Forleh
  • Tyrell Denard Smith
