PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — A shop was robbed at gunpoint by a man who was caught on tape.
The Palm Springs Police Department said that just after 11:30 p.m. on April 9, officers went to the El Rey Liquor Store at 4053 Lake Worth Road to deal with an armed robbery.
The police put out a camera video of the robbery in the hopes that someone will be able to figure out who did it.
Surveillance footage shows a guy walking into the store with a shotgun. A few seconds later, he points the gun at the worker. Then, he told the cashier to give him the cash box. The clerk did what he was told, and the suspect took the drawer and ran out of the shop.
A short time later, the cash box was found at Lakewood Gardens Park on Lakewood Road, according to the police.
In the video, the man is seen wearing a red hat, a gray button-up dress shirt with matching pants, a black coat, and black and copper Nike foam composite shoes.
