Trenton, New Jersey police are looking for the driver that struck three pedestrians over the weekend, injuring them, and then left the scene. It took place on Sunday at two in the morning in the South Broad Street 800 block.

According to the authorities, a 65-year-old woman was sent to the hospital with a brain bleed and shattered bones, a 40-year-old guy had a broken rib, and a 56-year-old woman had a knee injury.

The victims are all anticipated to be alright, according to the police. According to investigators, police discovered the striking vehicle—a red Acura—shortly after the collision. Still missing, though, is the driver.

“Happens all the time around here. Happens all the time,” Shone Bradley, a resident of South Broad Street stated. According to people, extra stop signs would be helpful because the traffic may be overwhelming at times.

According to Camden resident Braily Alonso, “It’s pretty hard to cross the street. A lot of people come here fast and they just – they don’t care.” Alonso says he’s had a few near misses when crossing the street on his way to work and he hopes the culprit is apprehended quickly.

“I’ve seen people get hit here,” he stated. “It’s not the first time.”

Surveillance cameras from several businesses captured the incident or the moments before it. According to police, the investigation is still ongoing. Trenton police are asking anyone with information about the driver to get in touch.
