After a shot spotter activation in the vicinity on Monday night at around 10:49 p.m., police were sent to the 1000 block of Market Street close to 6th Street.

Officers heard that an adult male victim had been discovered at 6th and Market Streets, suffering from a gunshot wound, while en route to the scene. After providing assistance, police and paramedics took the victim, who had potentially fatal injuries, to a nearby hospital.

The second victim was subsequently found by police two blocks away, close to 7th and Stevenson streets. The gunshot wound sustained by that adult male victim was also present. His injuries were not life-threatening, so emergency personnel took him to a nearby hospital.
