After participating in the Platinum Payout Bucks Blowout scratch-off game, a Newark woman is the proud winner of a $150,000 prize.

According to the Delaware Lottery, the woman—who has chosen to stay anonymous—bought the winning ticket at Boyd’s Corner Liquors in Middletown. On July 31, she picked up her award.

The winner stated in a news release that her greatest lottery win to date was $1,000.

The lottery states that there are still two $150,000 top prizes for Delaware Lottery’s $20 Cashnado scratch-off game and three $100,000 top prizes for Instant Game $100K.

According to delottery.com, tickets are valid for a year after the game prize drawing date or for a year following the proclaimed end of sales for instant games.

How do you pick up your award?

First things first, use an ink pen to write your name as the ticket owner on the back of the ticket. The Delaware Lottery states that a ticket’s ownership cannot be altered or transferred once it has been signed.

The Delaware Lottery Office is open for prize claims from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on business days, if the prize is valued $5,001 or more. A photo ID containing your name, address, and Social Security number is required.
