A Pensacola High School assistant principal was arrested for a sex violation.

Following his arrest by the Pensacola Police Department, 55-year-old Sean Clark Robby was booked into Escambia County Jail about at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Escambia County jail log states that the Pensacola administrator was charged with a sex offense—video voyeurism.

Although Escambia County Public Schools verified one of its staff members was detained, they did not name Robby as the individual.

The school said in a statement that although they “are fully cooperating with our partners in law enforcement as their investigation unfolds” “this individual is suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.” They added they could not provide further information.

“I can say that at this point in the investigation, this did not involve any students, nor did it happen on campus,” PPD Public Information Officer Mike Wood said.

There is still research to do. WKRG was informed by the Pensacola Police Department that further charges are possible.

“This is something that parents are going to be very concerned about and we’re going to look into this case and get to the bottom of it,” Wood said.
