An early Sunday morning gun incident in Methuen left eight individuals injured.
Methuen police chief Scott McNamara reported that at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to 100 Lindberg Ave. in reference to gunfire.
When the police arrived, they discovered that seven individuals had been shot, and one individual had suffered a head injury while attempting to flee.
Paul Tucker, the district attorney for Essex County, stated that one of the victims was transported by air to a nearby hospital.
Hundreds of people had assembled here for a rendezvous of auto aficionados, according to the DA. According to him, social media is used to promote these kinds of gatherings.
The police chief claims they were unaware of this site or that they had anticipated being able to close it down sooner. The victim is between the ages of twenty-two and late teens.

“It’s amazing with the amount of ballistics evidence we are recovering that more people weren’t hurt,” Tucker stated.
There are still two individuals in critical condition. An investigation is still underway and no one has been taken into custody in relation to the incident.
