SpaceX’s Starlink Mission: Launching 24 Satellites from Florida

SpaceX's Starlink Mission Launching 24 Satellites from Florida

Early on Saturday morning (Nov. 30), SpaceX intends to launch 24 more Starlink broadband satellites from Florida’s Space Coast.

During a four-hour window that begins at 12:00 a.m. EST (0500 GMT), a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 24 Starlink spacecraft is set to launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Saturday.

The broadcast will start approximately five minutes prior to launch, and SpaceX will webcast the event using its X account.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 will land on the droneship “Just Read the Instructions” in the Atlantic Ocean around eight minutes after liftoff, providing everything goes as planned.

As to the SpaceX mission description, this will be the sixth launch and landing for this specific booster. To date, it has flown five times, including two Starlink missions.

After liftoff, the 24 Starlink satellites will be deployed in low Earth orbit approximately 65 minutes later by the upper stage of the Falcon 9.

In the event that all proceeds as planned, SpaceX will launch Starlink as the first leg of a rocket doubleheader on Saturday morning.
