St. Pete Couple Accused of Abusing Woman They Just Met

A couple from St. Petersburg has been accused of engaging in sexual misconduct by restraining a woman they had recently met.

On Friday, a man and a woman who have been named as Alec Farwell and Gracie Mowery made friends with a group of young women who were hanging out in the downtown area of St. Petersburg.

The couple allegedly invited their friends to their home at 225 1st Avenue North at one in the morning so that they could continue their socializing in their pool and continue on with the evening.

The male suspect brought the victim back to the apartment as her friends were enjoying themselves in the pool.

Gracie Mowery assisted in restraining the woman while the man engaged in sexual misconduct.

The victim managed to break free and contacted the police.

Alec Farwell has been charged with sexual misconduct, while Gracie Mowery faces charges of sexual misconduct and unlawful detention.
