In the early hours of a Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida, three separate shootings occurred, resulting in three individuals being injured.
Around 2 a.m., the initial shooting occurred on Herlong Road in Jacksonville’s Westside. A man, driving his vehicle, was unexpectedly confronted and shot in the neck.
Fortunately, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. The assailant escaped the scene, and currently, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
Approximately two hours later, at 4 a.m., the second incident unfolded on Weare Street. In this case, a man walking in the area became a victim of gun violence, sustaining a single gunshot wound to his leg.
Thankfully, his injuries were also not life-threatening, and he was taken to the hospital for medical attention. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) successfully apprehended all suspects linked to this specific shooting, providing a sense of closure to this part of the story.
The third and final incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Beach Boulevard, situated on Jacksonville’s Southside. In this instance, a man was struck in the leg by someone in a moving vehicle.
Like the previous cases, his injuries were not life-threatening, and he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the suspect managed to flee the scene, prompting the JSO to initiate an investigation involving witness interviews and the search for potential surveillance camera footage.
