Travel Time on Brightline From Orlando to Miami Across the Sunshine State"

ORLANDO, Fla. – This summer, Brightline will launch its rail service from Orlando to South Florida, and preparations are well underway.

According to the corporation, its trains are capable of reaching speeds of up to 130 miles per hour, making them the fastest in the Southeast.

When departing from the Orlando station on the Brightline, how long should passengers anticipate it will take them to arrive in Miami? The voyage on the Brightline train from Central Florida to Miami would take two hours and 59 minutes if it did not make any stops along the way. It would take around two hours to go from Orlando to West Palm Beach.

Officials from Brightline took the time to educate prospective travelers on how to use Florida’s higher-speed rail system during the recent unveiling of the Orlando station for the high-speed rail service. It is hoped that the station will open earlier than July of this year.

This month, tickets for future events between Miami and Orlando will be on sale to the general public.

The organization provides a SMART class of service in addition to a PREMIUM class of service. The PREMIUM service offered by Brightline will include a special lounge and train carriage, both of which will offer complimentary alcoholic beverages and light food.

According to Brightline’s website, one-way rates for the SMART service will start at $79, while one-way fares for the PREMIUM service will start at $149.

The cities of Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach are all currently served by Brightline.
