After an early-evening shooting in Tucson on Sunday night, four persons were admitted to the hospital with gunshot injuries.
Just about 2:40 a.m., Tucson police reported that they heard gunshots near East Speedway Avenue and North Belvedere Boulevard. They discovered three victims with gunshot wounds there, and numerous more people had fled the scene on foot and in cars.
A man was carried in stable condition, and a lady and man with potentially fatal injuries were rushed to the hospital. An additional individual who had not been harmed in any way by the incident also showed up at the hospital on his own.
According to the police, detectives discovered the scene of a previous incident in which multiple businesses sustained property damage.
As of 11 a.m. on Sunday, police said that a number of people had been taken into custody and that detectives were still trying to ascertain how each person was involved in the incident. This process would probably take several more hours.
A police spokesman, Sgt. Richard Gradillas, stated that witnesses reported to investigators that there was a fight going on between two groups at the time bullets were fired.
Gradillas did not clarify if shots were fired at each other by members of the two parties or if one party was the aggressor. More than 180 shots were fired during the event, he continued.

“No arrested have been made at this time and the investigation remains open and ongoing,” Gradillas stated. “Detectives are asking anyone with any information, videos or pictures to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME. You can remain anonymous.”
Gradillas stated that once further information about the inquiry became available, the agency would make it public.
