Two Bodies Found After Shooting in North Miami Beach

Miami – A North Miami Beach neighborhood was filled with police activity following a shooting incident that occurred overnight.

According to the police, the bodies of two individuals were discovered inside a residence located at the intersection of NE 170th Street and NE 16th Avenue.

The aunt and uncle of the deceased, a 27-year-old, expressed their shock at the news. The uncle stated, “He’s a good kid, doesn’t bother anybody, doesn’t fight anyone. He was a good boy. I can’t comprehend this.”

The victim’s aunt, identified as Edelia, spoke to CBS News Miami’s Peter D’Oench, saying, “This has come as a tremendous surprise to me.

My nephew is like a child to me. I watched him grow up. I don’t know. I don’t understand. I can’t believe this. I simply cannot believe that this has happened.”

Another individual who had sustained gunshot wounds was rushed to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital in critical condition.

Faith Davis, a resident of the neighborhood, described the situation: “I was leaving for work just like any other normal day, and I witnessed this incident.

They told me what happened, and I couldn’t believe it—someone being shot and losing their life. This never happens here, never.”

Police were observed questioning two men within the area taped off as a crime scene.

Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
