Every month, 3.4 million Texans get assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and many of them are curious to find out when their money will be available. The payment details for this week can be seen here for the recipients.
In terms of the application procedure, Texas normally grants SNAP benefits after a 30-day review period.
You can buy qualified foods including fresh produce, meats, and dairy goods with your SNAP benefits. They cannot, however, be used for non-food commodities such as alcohol, cigarettes, or petrol.
This week, who will be the next to receive food stamps?
In Texas, SNAP payments are given out on a staggered basis, starting on the first and ending on the 28th of each month.
Benefits are distributed in an orderly and effective manner because each beneficiary’s Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number is linked to their home.
The final two digits of the EDG number will determine when the payment is due. The following table outlines how beneficiaries with numbers 35 through 57 will be compensated this week:
- 35-38: June 11
- 39-41: June 12
- 42-45: June 13
- 46-49: June 14
- 50-53: June 15
- 54-57: June 16
The purpose of this staggered timetable is to guarantee that every home receives their monthly share within the allotted time.

If benefits are prorated at the time of application, the prorated amount can be deposited into the household’s Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) account in one lump sum along with the subsequent monthly allotment.
The Lone Star Card is an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card that provides monthly Texas SNAP benefits. Eligible food goods can be bought with the Lone Star Card at approved merchants who take SNAP benefits.
