Woman Killed in Larchmont Hit-and-Run LAPD Launches Investigation

The public is being asked for assistance by the police in finding the hit-and-run driver who murdered a 26-year-old woman in the Larchmont neighborhood in late June.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was crossing the roadway inside of a designated crosswalk when the incident occurred on June 22 at approximately 3:20 a.m. near the junction of N. Western Avenue and Rosewood Avenue.

A late-model white pickup truck, thought to be a Ford or Chevrolet, was heading south on Western Avenue when it struck the victim as she was crossing the street.

The woman, whose identity is still unknown, was taken to a local hospital and passed away there.

A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered by the City of Los Angeles through the Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund for information that results in the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the offender in the fatal incident.
