The well-known YouTuber Benny Potter, 40, of Colorado, was the victim of a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 25 close to Fort Collins, according to a statement made by the Colorado State Patrol on Tuesday.
The collision occurred on June 8, a Saturday, at approximately 9:19 a.m. on southbound I-25 close to milepost 267.5. CSP claims that Potter was in his silver Toyota 4Runner when it veered off the interstate’s right shoulder.
Potter crossed the frontage road, which runs parallel to the highway, and then the car began to roll many times.
Potter was wearing his seatbelt, according to CSP, but he passed away at the site from his wounds. There was no other car involved, and he was the only person in it.
With 3.02 million subscribers, Potter owned the well-liked YouTube channel Comicstorian. On Monday, the news was shared on social media platform X by his spouse, Nathalie.
“Ben spent over 10 years spreading his love and appreciation for his hobbies,” the announcement stated. “It was through his love of exciting stories and well-written characters that got him started on YouTube.”
Although the reason of the incident is still being investigated, the CSP stated that there were no signs of impairment or driving too fast.
