23-Year-Old Victim Stabbed in Times Square - Police Launch Search for Suspect

Police have unveiled surveillance footage of the individual they are searching for following a stabbing incident involving a 23-year-old at a Times Square subway station over the weekend.

The attack occurred on the staircase at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, near the A & C lines, shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday.

According to authorities, the assailant attempted to steal the victim’s phone, leading to a verbal altercation that culminated in the victim being stabbed in the torso.

While two individuals were apprehended by police at the subway station, three others fled the scene.

The victim, as yet unidentified, was transported to a local hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

The sought-after suspect is described as a male approximately 5’5″ in height, last seen wearing black pants and a white jersey with gold lettering that reads “legend.”

The investigation into the stabbing remains ongoing.
