3 Victims Injured in Miami Intersection Takeover Police Search for Shooter

MIAMI — Police are on the lookout for a suspect following a shooting incident during an intersection takeover in Miami-Dade that left three individuals injured on early Sunday, as reported by the authorities.

The victims include a 20-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and a 19-year-old man, all of whom sustained injuries during the altercation.

Two of the wounded individuals were promptly taken to Ryder Trauma Center, where they were reported to be in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon, according to a statement released by the police.

The third victim was initially brought to Hialeah Hospital by a friend but was later transferred to Ryder Trauma Center for further treatment. Details about his current condition are still pending.

As of now, the police have not disclosed the identities of the victims.

According to the authorities, the incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. at NW 146th Street and NW 7th Avenue, where a group of people were participating in an intersection takeover.

The situation escalated into a fight, during which someone produced a firearm and began shooting, resulting in injuries to the three individuals.

At this point, investigators have not revealed the cause of the initial altercation among the group.
