TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – According to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, a murder that occurred in early April resulted in the death of a man from Tallahassee.
The organization sent a news statement about the event a little under a month after it had taken place.
Jermaine Montique, 40 years old, was reportedly shot and died on NW 22nd Road in Fort Lauderdale on April 8th, according to the police.
Officers arrived on the scene to find that Montique had been shot many times. It was determined that he had passed away at the site.
According to the police, Montique was originally from Tallahassee.
