St. Cloud Charter School Administrator Let Go Following Controversial Tiktok Posts

After pupils at a nearby charter school found suggestive films that an employee of the school had placed on TikTok over a period of years, the individual was fired.

Up until this past Monday, Daniel Rionda was employed as a dean at the Creative Inspiration Journey School, which is located on the outskirts of St. Cloud. However, he was fired from this position.

Rionda was shown in the films, which were posted online in 2021, sticking his tongue out to sexually provocative music and twerking with a female companion inside his home.

Early in the month of May, accounts that gave the impression of being pupils at the school began leaving comments on the recordings. Concerned parents expressed their anxiety about the well-being of their children on social media on Friday afternoon by posting screenshots of the incidents and leveling charges against Rionda and the school.

“They’re pretty disturbing, so I think they speak for themselves,” said Sarah Hyde, a parent who has two children enrolled at the school. You’ve heard about it, but when it starts affecting your children, you realize how real it is. When I first got here, I wasn’t really sure what to do.”

Rionda turned his videos private, but the school decided it was too late for that, according to the termination letter that was delivered to him by the principal. The letter noted that the content of the films was damaging to the school and violated its social media policy, and it stated that the videos were posted in violation of the social media policy.

Rionda explained to the parents online that he was unable to make his TikTok account private and that he had blocked kids who had stumbled into his videos.

“I was young and stupid,” he said later on in his life. Instead of accusing me, why don’t you… Perhaps it would be best for the PARENTS to do themselves a favor and refrain from letting their CHILDREN use social media applications.

After being contacted, Rionda stated that the substance of the movies did not contain anything that could be considered damaging or illegal and that the incident had been blown totally out of proportion.

“I am guilty of not deleting my social media when I received a position at the school and that is the only thing I am guilty of and I am suffering the consequences of that,” he added.

“That is the only thing I am guilty of and I am suffering the consequences of that.” “The amount of slander and harassment I’ve been subjected to has reached unfathomable levels,” the victim said.

He also stated that members of his family had been the target of threats throughout the last weekend.

Some of the people who left comments on Rionda’s social media posts expressed their support for him, arguing that the parents were acting in an unfair manner and accusing him of things that were much more serious than the content of his videos indicated, without providing any proof.

However, parents have stated that he should have been aware of the need to keep his account private when he accepted the position at the school.

“You should automatically know that kids are going to find you,” Hyde advised.
