According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, a lady shot her boyfriend at a Hobe Sound home on Friday and then turned herself in to police after locking herself inside.

The 9100 block of Southeast Parkway Drive was the location of the incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, a woman shot her lover in the stomach. The victim went to a neighbor after that, who helped and dialed 911.

While this was going on, the woman locked herself inside the house. The sheriff’s office stated that it’s possible she was armed.

The woman turned herself in to the police and was taken into custody following several tear gas attacks by the deputies.

With non-life-threatening wounds, the sufferer was brought to the hospital. He is in his 30s, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.

Responding to the incident were the Martin County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, crisis mediators, and around twenty deputies.

A tactical robot was seen approaching the front of the residence and a sizable law enforcement truck was visible outside the house in footage from the sheriff’s office.

The guy and woman’s identities have not been made public, nor with any other details.
