In Miami Beach, a man was taken into custody after repeatedly hitting a hotel employee, then flashing his genitalia and asking if she wanted to be sexually assaulted.

It happened on Monday at the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club, which is located at 1732 Collins Avenue, shortly after midnight.

Police said that 30-year-old Deibbys Cardoso Rodriguez went inside the hotel and requested to use the computers, but he ignored the notice that said they were only for staff use and went to a pornographic website.

The victim approached him, according to the police, and he punched her in the face twice more when she followed him outdoors. At that moment, Rodriguez asked the victim “if she wanted him to rape her and if she wanted more from him,” according to the arrest report. He also pulled down his pants to reveal his genitalia.

Later, as they were patrolling the neighborhood, Rodriguez was spotted by the officers, who apprehended him after discovering a baggie containing suspected crack or cocaine in his pocket.

When questioned by police, he allegedly pled the fifth and refused to identify himself.

Rodriguez was transferred to the jail without any further incidents, and his arrest report said that he “had an extensive criminal history,” according to the cops.
