HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities in Harris County are conducting an investigation following a shooting incident that took place on Monday afternoon as a result of a family disturbance.

The shooting took place at approximately 4:20 p.m. within the 10700 block of Shady Canyon.

Initial reports suggest that a conflict may have arisen between a husband and wife.

According to official accounts, one of the individuals produced a handgun during the altercation, resulting in the husband being shot.

During the course of the incident, an adult son attempted to intervene and was also wounded by gunfire.

Both individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Officials have indicated that both men are currently in stable condition.
