A woman from Faulkner County vanished into thin air seven years ago. Her family is certain she is still alive even though no one has seen or heard from her since.

According to Nikki Driscoll, her mother, Kelly Evans, had a wicked sense of humor and was a feisty individual. Driscoll has been looking for her mother since 2017 in the hopes of seeing her again.

“It’s just absolutely crazy to me that I have another child that doesn’t even know who she is because [my mom] has always been such a big part of my life,” she stated.

Evans was listed as missing on the official missing person list on October 14, 2017. That same evening, Driscoll said, she had her final text conversation with her mother, which ended at midnight.

Although her family has not contacted Evans, her daughter stated that there is an important piece of information that may help determine where she has gone.

In an old teal Ford truck with an orange stripe around the body, Driscoll claimed to have seen her mother two months after she vanished.

“When its headlights met my headlights because I was pulling out of the driveway, I saw my mom in the passenger seat of the truck. She ducked her head and covered her face and it took off,” she explained.

Driscoll has been an administrator of CAYA Ministries, a non-profit transformative home for women, since her mother vanished. This group helps other women realize that they will persevere in times of distress.

Driscoll wants her mother to know that she will continue to stand up for her.

“She still has a home. She still has a vehicle. She still has belongings. She has grandchildren she’s never met. We just want our mom. We just want her back,” Driscoll stated.

Kelly Evans, who is currently 61 years old, is 5’6″ and has back, shoulder, and neck tattoos.

Please contact Investigator Howington or Lieutenant Woodward at the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at (501) 450-4917 if you know anything concerning her whereabouts.
