On Tuesday, April 18th, officials arrested a guy who had been convicted of shooting his girlfriend and another lady at her Miami home.
According to the Miami police arrest record, officers arrived at a house in December 2022, just before midnight on December 27, 2022, after receiving a call indicating a domestic dispute from South of Wynwood Gardens, in the 1900 block of Northwest Fourth Court.
As per the Authorities, They interacted with the women. She said that her boyfriend was calling her many times but she did not accept his calls and text messages.
However, Police recognized her boyfriend as a 23 year old person named Damond Jamal Swain Jr.
Police said that the victim came outside to talk to him after Swain started to hit the door. As per the arrest report of Swain, When she came outside of her home, He became very hostile and grabbed her from the jacket that she was putting on and forced her.
After that, Swain went to his car, retrieved a firearm of black color black and returned back to the victim, aiming it at her, according to the police.
The Victim screamed for help and the Other woman came there after hearing her name. and the lady asked swain, “What is going on?” And Swain replied to this, “I’ll shoot you too,” as per the report.
Police said, When the women called the police, Swain ran away in an unknown direction after this incident. The victim and the other lady recognized Swain with only one photo.
According to the police report, Swain was caught slightly around 3 p.m. Tuesday,11th April near the 400 block of Northwest Second Avenue in Miami.
As per the Detectives, He headed to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where the bail amount was set at $16,500.
Moreover , According to the jail reports, Swain was indicted with two charges of violent assault with a firearm and one count of battery, according to jail records.
