Who is eligible for these States’ $766 SNAP benefits?
The maximum amount in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia for a household of three is $766. In the event that there are no reductions, you will be eligible to earn this maximum amount.
If you don’t have any resources or other sources of income, or if your financial status and personal circumstances permit the SNAP office to provide you the entire amount, then this might be feasible. The CBPP claims that households of three only receive $598 on average.
September is the final month that families with three members are eligible to receive $766. Following the 2025 COLA, this maximum amount will marginally increase. October 1, 2024 is when it will change to $768. Thus, individuals who qualify can receive an additional $2.
