Breaking Two Teenagers Shot in Wellington, Sparking Fear Among Parents in the Area!

Two teenagers were shot in Wellington yesterday, and some parents who live nearby are worried about how safe their area is. No one has been caught yet in connection with the killing.

Contact Five looked at the number of crimes in the area around White Pine Drive where the event happened.

Residents said that the area was rough a decade ago, but it has since been cleaned up. But they worry that it might be going backwards now.

White Pine Drive is not Wellington, where there are polo ponies and expensive shops. But some neighbors said they felt safe here until two teens were shot in front of a house not too long ago.

“It’s shocking because it’s quiet during the day,” a young mother who didn’t want to be named said. “Nighttime is questionable.”

“Knowing that it happened right in front of my house and hearing the gunshots makes me nervous,” said a man who lives in the area and was also worried but did not want to be named or shown on TV.

After the shooting on Wednesday morning, officers from the sheriff’s office looked for hints.

One of the two teens who were hurt is still in serious but stable state in the hospital.

Contact 5 got logs of recent problems on White Pine Drive from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 13 violent crimes, such as an attack, a domestic in progress, and abuse.

“I didn’t know anything about that, but now that I do, it’s kind of scary,” said the young mother.

She said that the crime scene on White Pine Drive makes her worry about the children who go to a nearby private school and a Boys and Girls Club. She said that the kids take the same road home.

The woman said that she was worried about her own child.

She said, “I have a small baby.” “I don’t want her to grow up in a dangerous neighborhood, especially since there are so many kids here.”

The investigation is still going on, so if you know anything about what happened, you should call the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
