Last week, a drug bust in Hillsborough County resulted in the seizure of over $110,000 worth of cocaine.
Tishunz Logan, 32, and Dondre Alexander Daley, 30, were apprehended following an investigation spanning several months, during which detectives secured 2.25 pounds of drugs.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Logan played a crucial role in transporting substantial quantities of the substance from Pasco to Hillsborough County.
On January 25, Logan attempted to flee from authorities but was arrested, with Daley also taken into custody. Daley is now facing charges related to conspiracy to traffic cocaine weighing between 400 grams and 150 kilograms.
On the other hand, Logan is facing multiple charges, including trafficking in cocaine (400 grams to 150 kilograms, 200 grams to 400 grams, and 28 to 200 grams), resisting an officer with violence, and three counts of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
Subsequent to Logan’s arrest, detectives discovered that he had instructed a woman to remove concealed items from a residence in New Port Richey. Pasco deputies executed a search warrant, revealing $32,000 in cash, bulk ammunition, a firearm magazine, and approximately an ounce of cocaine inside.
“The collaboration between our detectives and our deputies on the street once again demonstrates the power of teamwork here at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Chad Chronister stated. “Together, they successfully caught a known criminal who was swiftly brought to justice despite attempting to continue his life of crime in the new year.”
