Deadly Shooting in Pahokee Leads to Arrest of 24-Year-Old!

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that a 24-year-old Pahokee man was arrested in the Feb. 4 shooting death of another Pahokee man.

Sheldon Miles was found on March 17 in Orlando. On Friday, he was sent back to Palm Beach County and put in jail there. He is being charged with murder in the first degree and firing a gun in a public place.

Around 1 a.m. on February 4, deputies were called to Carver Place near Rardin Avenue in Pahokee because someone had been shot. A deputy found a man outside who had been shot.

At the scene, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said he was dead.

According to family members, the unidentified victim got into a fight at Muck Tavern in Pahokee, which was close to where the shooting happened, and this is written in the police report.

People who saw the shooting said that the person who did it was TJ, which is an alias for Miles.

Investigators looked at the suspect’s social media and phone records and then followed his gray 2017 BMW to Orlando.

Miles is being held in jail without bail, and his next court date is May 18 at 8:30 a.m.
