DOJ Orlando Man Arrested for Trafficking Over 300 Grams of Heroin and Cocaine at Gas Station

Following his sale of 300 grams of heroin and cocaine to individuals at a nearby gas station, an Orlando man entered a guilty plea to counts of drug possession, according to the Department of Justice.

Jahroy Sackey, 44, entered a guilty plea to charges of possessing a pistol and ammunition as a convicted felon as well as possessing heroin with the intent to distribute 100 grams or more.

On December 7, 2018, Sackey went to a petrol station in Orlando and gave someone grams of heroin.

Sackey drove to the same gas station on March 5, 2019, and sold the same customer over 250 grams of heroin. He was taken into custody after the sale.

During Sackey’s automobile search, authorities discovered 156 grams of cocaine and a FN Herstal handgun loaded with 24 rounds of armor-piercing ammunition.

Sackey previously served time in federal prison for possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute it, and he has a criminal record.

A mandatory minimum sentence of up to 40 years in federal prison awaits him.
