Florida Issues Purple Alert for Missing, Endangered Man in Hernando County

WPBN: Thomas Scott Cunningham, 34 years old, has been identified as a credible threat to himself, and the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the aid of the general public in locating him. Cunningham is not just missing but also in danger.

A Purple Alert has been issued by the authorities, which is a type of alert that is designed to find adults who may be in danger and require participation from law enforcement.

Officials said that prior to his disappearance, Cunningham made illogical statements and gave the impression that he intended to hurt himself.

As a result of his written threats to kill, he is also wanted on an active warrant issued by Hernando County as well. Even though his precise whereabouts is unknown, law enforcement officials believe that he poses a possible threat to their safety.

For the last time, Cunningham was observed in the Pinellas County area driving a gray 2021 Nissan Rogue with the Florida license plate number 03DMNR.
