Florida Man Claims $1 Million Prize From Lottery $20 Scratch-Off

The Florida Lottery said that James Riley, 63, of Ocoee, claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LIMITED Scratch-Off game at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

He got a one-time payment of $795,000.00 as a lump sum for his winnings.

Riley bought his winning ticket at the Ocoee Food Mart, which is at 700 South Bluford Avenue. The store that sold the winning Scratch-Off ticket will get a bonus commission of $2,000.

GOLD RUSH LIMITED, a $20 scratch-off game with 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million, came out in September 2021.

Also, this ticket has over 33,000 prizes worth between $1,000 and $100,000. The odds of winning the game are 1 in 2.65.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s games. In fiscal year 2021-2022, they will make up about 77 percent of ticket sales. Scratch-Off games have raised more than $17.69 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since they were first made (EETF).
