SANFORD, Fla. – Monday, fire crews in Seminole County helped get a cow out of the mud where it had been stuck for 24 hours, the fire department said.
Pictures released by the department show that workers were digging in the dirt to try to free the cow from the mud.

During the rescue, Firefighter Gavin Schmidt, who the crew called “the cow whisperer,” fed the cow water from a bottle, according to fire officials.
