On Monday, a fresh search for the remains of a 5-year-old child who died in 2019 in Manchester, New Hampshire, got under way.
Although Harmony Montgomery’s body has never been located, her father, Adam Montgomery, is incarcerated for her murder. Harmony’s mother spearheaded a fresh search for her daughter’s body in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on Monday.
Although Crystal Sorey stated she will never give up searching for her daughter, she acknowledged that the searches are emotionally taxing.
A few volunteers showed up at Mary O’Malley Park in Chelsea to aid with the hunt. Sorey said the numbers aren’t relevant because the endeavor is about bringing Harmony home.
She explained that she picked the park because it’s in the vicinity of the place where Adam Montgomery, who is suspected by investigators of disposing of Harmony’s body in March 2020, leased a U-Haul.
A volunteer who traveled from Worcester expressed her emotional response to the case, citing Harmony’s early resemblance to her daughter.
“The anguish that that child has lived with and the pain is unbearable,” volunteer Tara Rondeau stated. “I just think that the evil she suffered, and evil took her, but the devil doesn’t get to win this round.”
Sorey expressed her want to speak with Adam Montgomery in order to attempt to stop the searches.
“He still has that one ounce of control left over Harmony, and I feel like to induce more pain on me, because he hates me so much, that he would tell me where she is,” Sorey stated.

That specific location has never been searched before. Although Sorey expressed optimism that the search would be fruitful, another search is scheduled for October.
A 1,500 square mile area spanning from Manchester to Boston has been identified by investigators as the potential disposal site for Adam Montgomery’s daughter’s remains.
Numerous locations have been searched for the girl, including the Rumney Marsh Reservation near Saugus and Revere, which is located along Route 107.
