After a school bus and a dump truck collided in a Hialeah neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, six people—three of whom were children—were sent to nearby hospitals.

The collision occurred at the intersection of East First Avenue and 60th Street at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Three persons in the truck were harmed, according to a spokesman for the Hialeah Fire Department; two of them had to be dragged out of the car. They were transported via air to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

As per HFD, the bus carried fifteen kids and a driver. All the kids sustained minor wounds, and as a precaution, three of the kids were sent to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.

Images from the video show both cars colliding with a residential fence. In addition, the Hialeah police were receiving assistance from the Florida Highway Patrol while they looked into the collision.

The vehicle is licensed by the U.S. Department of Transportation and is registered under the name F. Couceiro School Bus Inc. It is located in Hialeah.
