Authorities said a juvenile suspect was arrested in connection with Monday’s shooting in Washington state, which claimed the lives of five people, including three children.
According to a statement from the King County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just before five in the morning to a gunshot at a residence in the Lake Alice Road neighborhood of Fall City, which is roughly twenty-five miles east of Seattle.

In a statement, Snoqualmie Valley School District Superintendent Dan Schlotfeldt stated that although the students in question did not attend the district’s schools, support workers and counselors will be on hand for those in need.
“We recognize that events like this can affect all of us, including our students,” he stated.
