Jacksonville Witnesses Dual Shootings, Man and Woman Injured

Police reported that a group of people gathered in a parking lot. As a woman was leaving in a vehicle, multiple shots were fired towards her.

The woman was hit in the arm and taken to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, as per police statements.

The second shooting occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. on West 8th Street near I-95.

According to authorities, an adult male was shot in the neck while waiting at a bus stop. The police stated that an unidentified person arrived in a white four-door sedan, got out of the vehicle, and discharged several shots towards the man.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is currently ongoing.
