After participating in the Cash Blast Scratch-off on Wednesday, a man from Kentucky is now on a winning run.

Playing the Kentucky Lottery semi-regularly, Albert Turner of Ludlow, Kentucky, won his first ticket on a scratch-off this month, according to lottery officials. The ticket has a fifty dollar value.

The major winner, though, was his second winning ticket. He reportedly bet $10 from his first victory on another game, according to lottery authorities.

“I don’t always scratch them off, I just scan them,” Turner stated. “I scanned it (the ticket), and it said ‘See Clerk Corp.'”

Before he actually scratched the ticket, he believed there was a problem with it. He won $175,000 after scratching it and discovering winners on all 21 locations.

“I couldn’t catch my breath,” he stated. “I ran home and signed the back of it.”

Turner claimed that when his wife questioned him about why he was so pale, he told her that he had “hit it big.”

“My heart was crawling out of my throat,” he continued.

The Kenton County footballer said later that day that he had shared on social media that his lotto win had made it the finest day of his life.

“People asked how much, and I said ‘$1,000,'” Turner joked.

Turner was $123,000 richer after taxes. He and his spouse indicated they would pay off bills and take a vacation with the money. He purchased the winning ticket from Riverside Marketplace and will receive $1,750, according to lottery officials.
