Lee County Tragedy Missing Man Found Dead in Own Residence

The father of a man who had been reported missing told NBC2 that deputies from Lee County found his son deceased inside a residence in River Hall.

Paul Hemmert, Brian Hemmert’s father, mentioned in a conversation that he had with his son on a weekly basis. Up until one day, they didn’t miss a single phone call. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped.

Paul Hemmert stated that he filed a missing person report for his kid.

On Thursday, the sheriff’s office informed Paul that the body of his son had been discovered at the residence of Brian on Yellow Wood Drive.

Jake Hemmert, Brian’s son and a resident of the house, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from the state of Arizona.

He is still being held at the Lee County Jail at this time.

Brian Hemmert’s cause of death has not been disclosed by the sheriff’s office.
