In response to an earlier this year shooting, Miami Gardens police have made an arrest. Charges against Jerrard Anthony Daniels, 50, of Miami, include attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Daniels was brought into jail on Wednesday.
The incident happened on March 27 outside the Five Star Market, which is situated at 16162 NW 27th Ave, according to his arrest record.
When police got on the scene, the victim was reportedly suffering from a leg gunshot wound. Subsequently, investigators found that the bullet had entered one leg, passed through, and hit the other.
The victim reported that Daniels approached him in a gray sedan as soon as he drew up to the food mart and asked him if he was hanging out with another man nearby.
When Daniels attempted to attack him with a gun, the victim claimed he shoved Daniels away, and Daniels shot him.

As to the report, Daniels hits the victim in the face after the two men argue in surveillance footage that the police collected from the neighborhood.
According to the police, after the victim tossed his drink at Daniels, Daniels took a revolver out of his waistband and shot the man. According to the investigators, he then got back into his vehicle and drove off.
Records indicate that Daniels has been found guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drugs, and federal conviction for selling drugs.
