The incident happened on March 27 outside the Five Star Market, which is situated at 16162 NW 27th Ave, according to his arrest record.

When police got on the scene, the victim was reportedly suffering from a leg gunshot wound. Subsequently, investigators found that the bullet had entered one leg, passed through, and hit the other.

The victim reported that Daniels approached him in a gray sedan as soon as he drew up to the food mart and asked him if he was hanging out with another man nearby.

When Daniels attempted to attack him with a gun, the victim claimed he shoved Daniels away, and Daniels shot him.
