Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Car Accident in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — A man died in a single-vehicle car crash after being thrown out of his vehicle.

The incident took place on Sunday morning around 2:07 a.m., according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

The PBSO reported that Joshua Field, a 36-year-old resident of Lake Worth Beach, was driving his 2014 Jeep Patriot at a high speed in the northbound direction on Military Trail.

The Jeep drifted off to the right, collided with the curb on the east side, and veered off the roadway.

Subsequently, the Jeep crashed into a metal utility pole. Deputies stated that Fields was ejected from the vehicle and landed east of the Jeep.

Tragically, Fields succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the PBSO.

The authorities have informed his next of kin about the incident.
