OKEECHOBEE, Fla. — A teenage boy who is 16 years old is currently missing, and deputies are seeking assistance in finding him.
According to the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Jordan Rulong was last seen leaving his residence in the vicinity of the 15A area on Saturday between 1:45 and 2:00 a.m.
At this point, Rulong is considered missing until it is confirmed whether he ran away or not.
It is unclear what attire he was wearing when he disappeared. However, authorities have mentioned that he had on black, blue, and white Nike shoes and was carrying a black backpack.
Rulong is described as being 6’2″ tall, weighing approximately 150-160 lbs, and having a slim physique.
Deputies have noted that Rulong possesses a phone that can only access Wi-Fi, suggesting that he may be in a location with free Wi-Fi access.
The OCSO is urging anyone with any information, including potential sightings or knowledge of his whereabouts, to contact them at 863-763-3117.
